Hey, you lovely, lovely person! How have you been? Holiday craziness getting to you, despite your inherent awesomeness? Well, I have just the right kind of news to turn your spirits…

We just got our new jam space all sexed up and ready to go for us. Now that we have a steady space again, we’ll be able to chug out our new songs that we’ve been working on much quicker—which means you get to hear them sooner! Huzzah! Check back for new show updates, and stay cool in the pool.

So here’s the deal Horrorites: There’s no Kurtfest this year (“Booooooo!”). Mr. Curtis Mattson, however, has benevolently started Curtis’s Festival (“Yaaaay!”)! Who is playing, you ask? P-Gnewmatikz is probably the most important band of our time. The Legend of Chinbeard has never been so timely. Ty Cobb is going to shake you through your bones, then come exploding out through your ears and leave you clutching at random strangers’ Chuck Taylors for support. The Horror is the most under-rated band of all time and has a number one Latin Pop Radio hit they will be promoting (as well as releasing their new LP, “Diction”). Voyages travels through time and space using the power of drop-D tunings and Carl Sagan. Nallo is Ron Parpart doing what Ron Parpart does best: swallowing rocking the sweet pop hits. The Good Colonels need no further introduction, but I’ll give them 2 words here: Obama Rock. Woah. How could this night get any more awesome? News (a long overdue update)

It has been a long time since our last update, and we have so damn much to say…so here it goes…seriously…this is it…

One!

We are recording! In Mid-July, we will be heading to Sparta, MN to record with the man, the legend, the cyborg, Rich Mattson. Expect a full-length release at the end of the summer/beginning of the fall.

“But guuUUUuuUUysss! I can’t wait until the end of the summer/beginning of the fall to hear you guys!” No worries!

Two!

We’ve got shows! We are playing:

In Brainerd, MN (venue TBA) July 22nd

In Superior, WI July 23rd (two states in two days constitutes a tour, so that’s what we’re calling it mother effers)

& @ Pizza Flipping Luce Sept 9th with The Miami Dolphins, Birthday Pony, and So Much Fun. This show is going to be huge, and you should attend.

Three!

We are looking for opportunities to play in August, September, and on, so feel free to ask us to play at your venue, your basement, your garage, your kitchen, or your walk in closet (we’ll try our best to fit our gear in to your walk it closet…no promises though).

That all being said, we look forward to seeing your faces and dancing boots soon, and can’t wait to show you some gnarly recorded tunes.
